Main Objective of Sr. Specialist Utility :
To monitor and control the process of Effluent Treatment and Sewage treatment. Ensure that all designed parmeters are met on a daily basis. Conduct preventive maintenance regularly and ensure RO and DM water is available without fail for production process.
- To observe company environmental, health and safety regulations at all times
- To set, run and clean the ETP and STP installations
- To ensure the above machines are monitored at all times
- To accurately record all process data in the required format at the required intervals including and not limited to TDS, conductivity, pH, Hardness
- To carry out operator maintenance of these machines according to Plant Engineer’s instructions and OEM recommended frequencies
- To follow company procedures regarding hazardous chemicals handling, care and reporting
- To ensure RO reject water parameters are maintained within GPCB threshold before using for gardeningand plantation purposes
- To inform Plant Engineer of any actual or potential problems and agree a plan to solve them
- Assist Production to neutraize acid water on washing machine maintenance days
- To instruct on coming operators any potential issues
- To remove all sludge from filter press and store properly till disposal day arrives
- To maintain accurate levels of chemical inventory and spare parts for ETP and STP
- Adherence to safety and Environmental regulations for waste generated from ETP and STP
- To take place of General Utility Maintenance Engineer as and when required
- To adhere to ISO 9001 requirements.
