WHAT YOU'LL DO
- The primary role of the in-house Travel Coordinator will be to ensure BCG gets the best available lowest logical fare from the empaneled TMC's or any other alternate market sources - Online Portals for the Air travel tickets.
- All travel requests will be routed through the in-house Travel desk to the TMC.
- Once the travel request is received, the in-house TC to forward the request to various sources to obtain the lowest logical fare.
- Check in the market/online portals for the fare’s options.
- Do a thorough comparison of the fares received and ensure the best lowest logical fare within the TAT specified is offered to the booker/EA.
- If need be coordinate/negotiate with the Airline to confirm the lower class of fare.
- The ticketing time limit should be mandatorily informed to the booker/EA.
- Ensure requisite approvals are taken in case of any exceptions.
- Any recurring exceptions are highlighted to the Reporting Manager.
- Should make it a point to review and recommend travel policies and procedures.
- Attention to detail while sending fares and routing details to the booker/EA's and to set expectations related to the time limit of the PNRs.
- Should be part of any Change management initiative or cost saving project

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
- A graduate degree.
- Candidate should possess excellent negotiation skills.
- Sound knowledge of ticketing, fare constructions, itineraries, quality checks of tickets.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills is a must.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, Outlook etc.
- Knowledge of working on an Online Tool would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of BTA checks and reconciliation.
- The ideal candidate will be creative, highly motivated, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment

Our business management and operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. We are made up of executive and administrative (or case team) assistants, visual service artists, receptionists, facilities staff, and the team leaders and office coordinators who manage these operations and business management jobs.
