The Revenue Performance Organization in Controllership is a dynamic, stakeholder and customer-oriented team in Finance that is focusing on revenue recognition. We value business-focus while ensuring that we meet compliance and revenue standards under IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). We collaborate with logistics, FP&A, broader controllership, change management, shared services, and audit associates.
What you'll be doing
In this role you will be responsible for covering several countries globally and supporting several functions for multi-country project-based engagements. You will make sure that accurate bookings of transactions by project across several countries are posted as well as requesting many finance transactions. Senior Managed Services Transaction Specialist will be cooperating with the team of GL accountants, RA accountants, Deal Support and other related parties in GFSS and wide HV community, like Finance Managers, Services controllers, Program/Project Managers, Financial Accountants, etc. You will have opportunities to collaborate with Global Revenue Performance colleagues to achieve consistent best practices and judgement.
Senior Managed Services Transaction Specialist also works closely with external customers and internal/external auditors and is ready for ad-hoc different tasks.
What you bring to the team
Ability to work well with and influence various levels and functions within Hitachi Vantara, and
  • 3+ years' experience in finance and accounting
  • Experience of the Order to Cash process and industry leading best practice
  • Working knowledge of IFRS and SOX
  • Experience of working directly with multiple countries and cultures in a finance capacity
  • Knowledge of Oracle
  • Fluent English
  • Prepared to engage with business partners
  • Time management, professionalism, drive and resilience, building relationships, delivering quality service, feedback and learning
  • Problem solving - Query resolution related to a variety of issues is required on a regular basis
