Senior Quality Engineer

• Senior Quality Control/Assurance Engineer with a background in the Valve Industry (Preferably Instrumentation Valves)
• Involving and achieving certifications on API Q1 / API 6D / API Audits, ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Audits.
• Knowledge of Corrective actions, preventive actions, risk assessment, contingency planning and MOC.
• Ability to face API audits, customer audits, ISO audits.
• Plan and conduct internal audits.
• Development, preparation, implementation and monitoring of all Contract Specific Procedures and Work Instructions, Quality Control Plans (QCP/ITP)
• Responsible of valve quality involving testing, inspecting and preparation of procedures and work instructions based on relevant standards
• Should handle all quality department activities independently with subordinates.
• Handle the customer complaints.
• Knowledge of various codes like ASTM, ASME, API etc.
• NDT level-2 certified in RT/PT/DP
• Awareness regarding the supplier development/evaluation/audits
• Should be responsible for MR activities independently.
• Should have knowledge in various valve types like ball valve, check valve, Needle Valve, Globe Valve, gauge valve etc.
• Certificate in internal auditor is preferred (ISO 9000:2015)
• Handle the calibration activities with the team
• Planning, implementation & control of QA/QC processes.
• Suppliers Quality monitoring.
• Pressure and special testing /inspections.
• To review NCPs and NCRs in Quality processes.
• Verification raw material analysis, Chemical Analysis.
• Specifications and Procedures related to Materials Selection Sample Preparation & Testing.
• Knowledge of Heat Treatment Process-Annealing, Solution Annealing, Normalising
• Knowledge about documentation and MTCs for Valve Industry
• Should be able to maintain traceability of the products

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
