About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Public Policy Leader to spearhead our Public Policy initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in navigating complex regulatory environments, shaping policy agendas, and advocating for the company's interests with government stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Government Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, and policymakers to advocate for policies that align with the company's objectives.

Policy Development: Develop and implement strategic Public Policy initiatives that address regulatory challenges and support the company's growth and innovation goals.

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, communications, and business development teams, to ensure alignment on Public Policy priorities and messaging.

Industry Advocacy: Represent the company in industry associations, forums, and coalitions to advance shared policy objectives and shape industry-wide regulatory frameworks.

Risk Assessment: Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, assess potential impacts on the company, and provide timely guidance to senior management.

Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of emerging policy trends, conduct policy analysis, and contribute thought leadership pieces to relevant publications and forums.

Qualifications
:

Minimum 15 years of experience in Public Policy, government relations, or regulatory affairs.

Proven track record of successfully influencing policy outcomes and navigating regulatory landscapes.

Strong understanding of [industry/sector] regulatory frameworks and key policy issues.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.

Experience working with government agencies, Ideally ex-RBI or IAS from the finance side, or with BFSI industry experience

Advanced degree in Public Policy, law, political science, or a related field preferred.
