The purpose of job is to deliver efficient demand servicing to customers, ensuring clear communication both internally and externally regarding the status of supply and material availability.



Responsibilities

Order Management

  • Sales order processing (create, change, reject) of all order types upon rule set provided by the principal
  • Responsible for Customer Service Desk activities
  • Ensure timely deliveries to customers and improving delivery performance ratings
  • Review periodically of pending orders co-ordinate with Marketing for suitable action
  • Consignment reconciliation

Communication

  • Close interaction with Marketing Service, Business Support, Affiliates and Agents
  • Timely communication to the customer on their order position on update supply / availability
  • Co-ordinate with Finance for getting Sales Order released from Credit Block
  • Co- Ordinate with Supply Chain Management / Total Supply Disruption for ensuring timely availability of material to meet supply deadlines
  • Communicate with different group functions towords prompt response to Customers

Service Level Agreement

  • Achieve 100% delivery performance with key customers
  • Strictly follow FIFO (First In First Out) system for FG (Finished Goods) supplies.
  • Monitor the pending orders & Pruning of orders more than 3 months old
  • Reducing SMOG (Sales, Marketing, Operations Planning) inventory with advice from marketing

Coordination

  • Communicate with customers (internal/external), Affiliates, Transport, Order Fulfiller, Credit Management
  • Feed back to the customer, Order Confirmation / Dispatch information, Status of the order
  • Block/Unblock & Reservation of materials as per forcaste from customer /Marketing needs
  • Initiate new Customer creation request

Requirements

  • BA/B.Sc/B.Com degree or equivalent in related field
  • 2-5 years relevant experience in Customer Service.
  • Experience working in a captive or outsourced shared service center.
  • Familiarity with SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module.
  • Quality experience in operational order execution and a thorough understanding of the Order to Cash (OTC) process.
  • Proficiency in MS-Office and a general understanding of SAP SD module.
