AddressVice Chancellor
AIPH University (AIPHU – www.aiph.ac.in) is looking for a dynamic leader in the field of public health or health sciences education, research, and service to fill the position of Vice Chancellor. The incumbent will be required to assume the role of a CEO and be in the driver’s seat to take AIPHU through the next five years of development and be part of transforming higher education and research in India. AIPHU is one of the only two public health universities of India and the only one with large community sites (including coastal and tribal populations), wet labs, a mobile BSL-3 Van, and attached hospitals for conducting world class research. The leadership team and faculty publish in the most prestigious journals of the world and AIPHU boasts to have an H-index higher than that of some central universities of India that are 25-50 times larger than AIPHU. In the coming two years, AIPHU will move to its newly built home next to IIT Bhubaneswar and placed among many national educational and research institutions of India (NISER, CIPET, AIIMS among others) nestled in the Barunei foothills. The cultural and spiritual heritage capital of Odisha, also known as the temple city, Bhubaneswar is now one of the fastest growing cosmopolitan cities of India with superlative air and rail connections. AIPHU conducts collaborative research with many national and international institutions and maintains one of the most active exchange student and faculty programs in the country. While candidates with UGC-mandated qualifications close to retirement in government institutions will be considered, AIPHU will strive to identify younger candidates with experience in private setups and overseas institutions willing to wear the CEO hat for the next 5 years. Pro Vice Chancellor
- The Pro Vice Chancellor shall be an outstanding academician with minimum of five years’ experience as professor in a University or in an equivalent position in reputed research / academic administrative organization.
- Shall be appointed by the Board of Governors on the recommendation of the Vice Chancellor.
- Shall hold office for a period which is co-terminus with that of Vice Chancellor.
- The salary and service condition will be fixed as per UGC norms.

Registrar / Comptroller of Finance / Controller of Examination
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
- At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor and above or with 8 years of service as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration or comparable experience in research establishment and / or institutions of higher education or 15 years of administrative experience of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar / Finance Officer / Deputy Controller of Examinations.
- The age of superannuation is 62 years for Registrar / Comptroller of Finance and /or as per the UGC norms being revised from time to time.
- The salary and service condition will be fixed as per UGC norms.

Deans: School of Biological Sciences, Allied Health Sciences and Management
- An eminent scholar with PhD qualification in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality actively engaged in research with evidence of published works with minimum of 10 research publications in the peer reviewed / UGC listed journals.
- A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in University / College as Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor out of which 5 years as professor in the University.
- Research experience with evidence of having successfully guided Doctoral candidates.
- Contribution to educational innovations, design of Curriculum and courses and technology- mediated teaching learning process.
- The age of superannuation is 65 years and thereafter the service can be rendered as Professor up to the age of 70 years.
- The salary and service condition will be fixed as per UGC norms for Professors.
