Responsibilities:
- Conduct various types of land surveys including boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking surveys using advanced surveying equipment and techniques.
- Perform fieldwork to collect accurate measurements, data, and other pertinent information required for survey projects.
- Analyze survey data, drawings, and maps to ensure accuracy and completeness of survey results.
- Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless execution of survey projects and timely delivery of survey data.
- Provide guidance and support to junior surveying staff as needed, including training and mentoring.
- Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability during field operations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others on the job site.
- Keep abreast of industry developments, trends, and best practices in land surveying technology and methodologies.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in land surveying, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
- Proficiency in operating total stations, GPS equipment, and other surveying instruments.
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, methods, and techniques.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
