JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT
The Capital Accounting Senior Analyst will deliver financial analysis input into business cases, costs, and schedules to support growth in the business. In this role, you will contribute to the continuous process improvement on management reporting, report standardization and rationalization and you will develop and implement action plans on business performance optimization.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Review of asset balances from Regional & Enterprise level during the close, proactively investigates unusual trends to ensure that reported numbers are complete and accurate.
• Contribute and implement continuous process improvement, including simplifying and optimizing process, improving data integrity, and leveraging current technology.
• Work closely with Plant Finance and Controllership organization to ensure asset register

• Work closely with Plant Finance and Controllership organization to ensure asset register is standardized, supporting local GAAP requirements.
• Collaborate on corporate reporting process and ensure AUC/WIP is intact as expected and also monitoring capital spend.
• You will work under minimal supervision and independently handle complex issues while referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Advanced data analytical skills for using spreadsheets or business intelligence tools.
• Experienced leveraging financial and business systems to monitor business activities and aid in decision making.
• Experienced working with multiple businesses or international business experience.
• Minimum of four years of related work experience (post qualification)
• Other minimum qualifications may apply
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Qualified Chartered Accountant
• Experience using accounting technology applications.
