Key Responsibilities:
- Create, review and finalize content for student learning, based on experiential learning and pedagogies, in middle and secondary school-level Science. Devise activities for science experiences
- Teach Science to inspire students and enhance their competence, using the inquiry-based method.
- Involve in long-term teacher empowerment programs to help teachers acquire competence in experiential learning pedagogy, effectively teach students, and become a reflective teacher of Science.
- Mentor in-service teachers by observing classes and discussions.
- Be part of education research projects. Collect and maintain data as relevant for education research from the classroom and other activities at the school
- Participate in discussions and activities of Prayoga to effectively and appropriately support transformation of schools, teachers and students.
Qualification
- A degree in Science, Education with a B.Ed or any teacher training degree preferred.
- Master’s degree in Chemistry/Physics/Biology or allied subjects.
- Familiarity with pedagogy and content development
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching science (preferably Chemistry / Physics / Biology) at middle, high school, and beyond.
- Good interpersonal and observation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English & Kannada.
- Familiarity with basic use of computers and internet
- Willingness to travel upon requirement
Training will be provided for
- Conducting teacher empowerment programmes
- Observation and mentoring skills
- Data collection, management and analysiss
- Some Pedogogical approach

Salary: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
