Role : Sr. Engineering Manager


The Engineering Manager role will serve as the owner of a range of digital engagements. They are expected to leverage application and feature knowledge and business, advertising and marketing domain expertise in combination with the expertise of a cross functional team to achieve success.


This role is focused on leading and driving strategic digital marketing related conversations with prospects, clients and internal team members. This person is tasked with facilitating workshops and requirements sessions to gain an understanding of our customer's current state processes and technology, specifically related to marketing cloud, digital media, data/analytics and technical development.


From the session output, they will map out a future state that includes improved process definition as well as best-practice architecture and implementation of e-commerce, web-development, application, products, data/analytics and other related cloud based technologies. When this work is complete, the Engineering Manager will ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of technologies selected in support of the future state, in collaboration with our consulting, client service, and delivery center teams. The ideal candidate will have a relentless focus on overall client satisfaction and thrive on team development and shared :

  • Provide technical thought leadership across digital media, CRM, application architecture, e commerce, web-development, and marketing cloud integrations.
  • Provide domain and technical thought leadership across digital media, CRM, application architecture, optimal design and develop high-quality software solutions using PHP, .NET, and other relevant technologies.
  • Ensure to front-end client onboarding and facilitate with standard processes to fulfill the client needs and a safe hand-over to the teams for ongoing maintenance.
  • Ensure to follow the best practices in application development and maintenance.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
  • Drive proof of concepts, introduce new approaches, techniques and initiatives that leads to strategic technology partnerships and ensure Theorem remains a leader.
  • Lead consultative engagements including discovery workshops with customers on technical and business goals and challenges.
  • Constantly evaluate clients needs and develop new value proposition for individual clients to drive/position automation to help both clients and Theorem.
  • Develop customized presentations, demonstrations, and prototypes to prove the solution's business value to the customer which shares the strategic vision.
  • Use your business analyst skills to document comprehensive customer user stories, requirements and technical overviews of solutions.
  • Develop technical integration approaches, including data flow and architectural diagram/visuals.
  • Team management, work allocation and upskilling the team for better output and optimal utilization.
  • Keep track of the cost and revenue from both Products and the client projects.
  • Conduct regular team and 1-1 meetings to provide constructive feedback and ensure the challenges are addressed.

Qualification :

  • Highly experience in digital domain with proven solution design experience in working with clients (Digital certifications are a plus)
  • Deep understanding of digital media, data/analytics and other related cloud-based technologies, including demonstrating familiarity with AdTech and MarTech platform capabilities, hosting infrastructure, security and integration capabilities.
  • Enthusiastic, professional and confident team player with a strong focus on customer success who can present effectively even under adverse conditions.
  • Familiarity with Interactive Marketing Channels (ie: SEO, SEM, PPC, Ad Management, etc.) is a plus.
  • Hands on with PM tools like JIRA, MS projects and Teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and managing ecommerce platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to present to technical, non- technical, end-user, and executive audiences.
  • Comfortable in customer relationship management to effectively manage communications, conflicts, and negotiations, identify operational issues/risks, recommend and implement strategies to resolve problems, and monitor and measure client satisfaction.
  • Thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate into technology and operational requirements.
  • Highly experience in managing teams, resolving conflicts, resource management and resource deployment.
  • Work collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams to develop strategies that meet business goals within budget, time and scope.

Primary Skillset :

  • Proficient in PHP, .NET, HTML, CSS, Angular, WordPress and other relevant technologies.
  • Strong experience with database systems (MySQL, Oracle) and cloud architecture (AWS, Azure).
