Senior Engineer - DevOps
The Opportunity
We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Senior Engineer- DevOps at Bangalore, Pune and Hyderabad locations. In this role, you will implement complex projects (Conceptualize, design, developer, unit test, implement, guide certification team).

What you’ll do…
- Get exposure to a complete Product Life Cycle Development.
- Take on additional responsibilities and mentor junior members in the team Resolving some of the complex technical issues independently.
- High access to work with teams across SaaS product line, Engineering and CPO technology leadership.
- Eventually you will be managing a complete code feature right from Design, Development to performance and scalability.
- Once features finish product test, make slides, present them at service pack training and other places. Install, read documentation, talk to people to understand the feature.
- Manage the configuration of the build infrastructure (Windows and Linux)
- Improve reliability and performance of test and build processes.
- Design and maintain automated release channels and code repositories.
- Developing interface simulators and designing automated module deployments
- Proactively look for ways to automate the installation and upkeep of build tools and dependencies.
- Review and recommend solutions and tools to improve the software development process.
- Building the bridge between Engineering (SRE, Dev & QA) and IT Operations
- Completing code and script updates, as well as resolving product implementation errors.
- Overseeing routine maintenance procedures and performing diagnostic tests.
Who you are…
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years in deploying, configuring and managing highly available applications in Cloud using DevOps paradigm, and Administration of serverless, Linux/Windows applications.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing configuration Management tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible and Salt Stack
- Experienced in Azure & AWS developing platform specific deployment automation as well as terraform centric solutions preferably with certifications.
- Clear track record in participating in modern SDLC practices.
- Experienced in real time monitoring and alerting of applications deployed in Azure/AWS using cloud native tools.
- Experience in Change and release management principles, release Process Implementation like DevOps and Continuous Delivery methodologies to existing build & deployment strategies.
- ITIL work exposure and practice; Certification is a plus.
- Expertise in managing VPC configurations for organizations and maintaining networks and subnet ranges.
- Proficiency in Ansible playbooks development and repositories.
- Use of Ansible Galaxy/Automation Hub.
- Managed GIT version control system in creating branches, tags and merge.
- Managing environments like DEV, SIT, QA, UAT and PROD for various releases and designed instance strategies.
- Hands on experience with containerization and clustering technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline, GIT.
- Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as Python and Java and writing code and scripts, security practices.
- Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
- Security and SaaS experience strongly preferred.
