Senior Docker Administrator

Introduction
As a Service Delivery Specialist, you are the face of IBM for our customers. Your clients’ success depends on your ability to understand their needs and respond to requests for new services. This role is an integral part of both account planning and delivering support strategies, working to proactively monitor problems, change processes, and handle issues to ensure our customers success.
Your Role and Responsibilities

• As a Docker Skilled Resource, you will be placed at customer location and will have to demonstrate expertise in Docker.
• You will also be involved in deploying, configuring, troubleshooting and operational maintenance of Docker and Monitoring.
• Also you will perform design, performance-monitoring, tuning, scripting, upgrades and maintenance of all production systems Also you are expected to Make architectural and operational recommendations applying updates to the Docker.
• Typical examples of the other deliverables would be of deploying, managing and implementing Docker Application to address client business requirements.
• (Currently Client Location is Mumbai, however candidate can be transferred to any location in India based on IBM requirements).
• Maintain Docker images and manage versions.- Ensure security standards within containers.
• Monitor container performance and resolve issues.
• Configuration, deployment, proactive monitoring and maintenance of EPIC-related tasks
• Drawing upon concepts of tools, technologies and methodologies to collaborate with other technical specialists when carrying out assigned duties.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure Domain
• Ability to produce RCA of Severity incidents impacting network with minimum support from Superiors/Seniors within team
• Collaborate with teams for integration and deployment.- Optimize containers for performance.
• Responsible for integrating and defining containerization technologies
• Build, scale and monitor highly scalable applications
• Create and enhance our application’s CI/CD pipelines
• Keep up to date with the latest trending technologies
• Design the architecture and product roadmap
• Design and manage containerized applications using Docker.
• Maintenance/monitoring/upgrading/troubleshooting.
• Daily maintenance and troubleshooting of the Docker.
• Sharp troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Organizational and mentoring skills.
• Diploma or Graduate degree in Computers or equivalent.
