As part of our team of problem solvers, you will review and analyze clients’ legal documents including supplier and customer contracts, assess Deal impact, aid in supplier negotiations, assist in buy-side and sell-side diligence across various phases of a deal lifecycle - pre-sign, sign-to-close and post close.
- Lead the analysis and execution of contract separation and integration during
- Evaluate legal, financial implications of contracts(supplier and customers) and provide strategic recommendation to make the informed decisions
- Demonstrate critical thinking and an ability to bring order to unstructured problems
- Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current industry or sector trends
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders including partners and client teams
- Prepare client deliverable reports with comprehensive insights. Present data using visualization tools and powerpoint presentations to convey complex information effectively
- Guide and train junior members and other team members within the team, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment
- Continuously optimize processes for efficiency and accuracy and stay updated on industry trends
To qualify for the role you must have:
- 5-7 years of industry experience in Mergers & acquisitions, thorough knowledge of, and/or proven record of success in commercial due diligence or corporate strategy roles, preferably for a global network of professional services firms, private equity or corporate organizations
- Proven experience and understanding of various facets of merger, integration, spin-offs and/or divestiture transactions
- Experience in analyzing company financials(AP, AR data); and, assisting clients with strategic planning and business reviews and growth
- Exposure to Contracts Lifecycle Management (CLM), legal document reviews,
- Excellent written and verbal business communication, strong research and data analysis skills
- Ability to work effectively under strict deadlines and utilize project management skills to manage tasks
- Problem-solving skills - ability to analyze data sets and an aptitude for conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis using the standard suite of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Extensive experience in creating clear and concise reports, including building data visualization dashboards and executive reports on Powerpoint
- Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI and/or Excel Charts
- Experience on Alteryx and python scripting will be an added advantage, but not mandatory
Educational Background:
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business
- The ideal candidate will combine academic qualifications with a strong track record of practical experience in mergers and acquisitions, contractual due diligence and data analysis
