Job Responsibilities:
As a SAP Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions using SAP Payroll software. This role involves ensuring compliance with local, regional, and international payroll regulations, resolving payroll-related issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain data integrity in the SAP HCM system.
Payroll Processing:
• Execute end-to-end payroll processing using SAP Payroll.
• Verify and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
• Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues promptly.
Regulatory Compliance:
• Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, labor regulations, and other statutory requirements in various jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with legal and finance teams to address compliance concerns.
Configuration and Customization:
• Configure and customize SAP Payroll to accommodate the organization's payroll policies and specific requirements.
• Implement system updates and enhancements related to payroll functionality.
Data Management:
• Manage and maintain accurate employee data in the SAP HCM system.
• Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure data consistency and integrity.
Reporting:
• Generate and analyze payroll reports to support decision-making processes.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on payroll data analysis.
Communication and Collaboration:
• Collaborate with HR, finance, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP Payroll and other systems.
• Communicate payroll-related information to employees and respond to inquiries.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a SAP Payroll Specialist or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Payroll and SAP HCM modules.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
