Role: IT Manufacturing Solution Architect
Location: Kuala Lumpur/Malaysia
The Program is a multi-year program which aims at defining and developing the Global
Template in order to simplify, standardize and automate business processes and
systems leveraging SAP's, industry and available Customer best practices.
Purpose
As the Manufacturing IT Solution Architect, you are responsible for delivering IT solutions that
fulfil the business requirements in the area of ERP Manufacturing within the Global Template
Deployment Project. In this role you report to the R Regional IT Deployment Lead.
Your primary responsibilities include:
Provide expertise in the SAP-PP Manufacturing module, the integration with
other modules and the connected portfolios in it.
Drives implementation and provides technical and business leadership
where/when needed to achieve the vision and results of the roadmap.
Define, design, build and oversee the implementation and rollout of ERP
functional solutions based on SAP S/4 HANA for Manufacturing regionally
Develop new features as per business requirements and create
documentation, including configuration guides, functional specifications,
support test planning and execution
Ensure the solution fits to the Customer Manufacturing requirements and the
end-to-end technical operations processes including systems, interfaces and
platforms
Define and contribute to the development of interfaces between SAP and other
systems, e.g., MES, Artwork System, EWM or Serialization system
Acts as deployment focal point for assigned data objects in scope for
migration
Interacts with local Business Data Owners (BDOs), deployment Functional
Process Experts, ETL Team, Legacy teams, etc.)
Analyzes defects, issues from readiness reports and manages data deviations
working with relevant stakeholders until resolution
Collaborate with the program and business teams to ensure continuous
business and IT alignment
Closely collaborate with other functional and IT teams especially with Quality,
Warehouse and Master Data.
Manage and guide resources assigned
Lead complex fit/gap analysis and design decisions ensuring that any exceptions
from SAP standard functionality have sufficient justification and positive value
proposition
Own overall inventory of workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions,
enhancements, and forms (WRICEFs) for the area of Production Planning
Able to write and review functional specifications for solutions in PP area
Coordinate build and deployment work packages ensuring good collaboration
with build partners (developers and configurators)
Work closely with Regional Deployment Lead to ensure effective project
governance, management and timely reporting of progress on activities and
work packages according to the program plan and milestones
Ensure smooth handover of the solution and the systems built to the support
and operations teams
You bring the following qualifications:
10+ years of experience in a global enterprise in the Pharma industry delivering
ERP solutions in transformational projects as well as 5+ years of experience in
working with IT architecture with a strong background in ERP application
development, customizing and operation, ideally SAP-PP related modules.
Provide in depth knowledge of Scheduling, Production & logistics execution of
pharma industry including MES integration, EWM Integration, Planning system
integration and Production Master Data.
Good knowledge of S/4 HANA, and working experience in quality/compliance
management and CSV
Good Understanding of SolMan ALM methodologies
Strong analytical thinking, self-motivated, result-oriented team player having a
track record of timely, high-quality deliverables. Capacity to transform complex
concepts into specific solutions.
Excellent interpersonal skills in large multinational enterprise as well as
experience in delivering projects using Customer project management
methodology (PMM) or equivalent.
