Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Sales Engineer (Roads) to join our client s organization. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, government agencies, and stakeholders. Your primary goal will be to achieve sales targets, profitability, and market share. This role involves extensive travel within the assigned state/area of operation. Job Responsibilities

  • Identify market potential for various products and services in different segments.
  • Develop an annual operating plan based on market potential and growth opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain lasting relationships with customers, government agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Engage with clients, consultants, and principals to secure source approvals.
  • Understand customer requirements and assist them in selecting the appropriate product/technology/application.
  • Deliver technical presentations and participate in seminars, customer meets, and product trials.
  • Negotiate tender/contract terms while considering volumes and profit margins.
  • Coordinate with plant, marketing office, and project sites to ensure timely execution of sales orders.
  • Achieve targeted sales, profitability, market share, and collections within the assigned area.
  • Provide after-sales support to clients and resolve customer complaints promptly.
  • Identify and provide feedback on product, application, and technology improvements.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (BE/B Tech) in Civil/Mechanical/Chemical disciplines from a reputed institution.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong technical, planning, communication, and management skills.
  • Contracting and negotiation skills would be advantageous.
