What you’ll do:

Then we have the right opportunity—we are looking for an Intelligent / Robotic Process Automation Platform Engineer within the HPE IT’s RPA Platform team to join us! In this exciting role you will be a part of a strong team in Global IT and play a critical role providing technical expertise for development, maintenance, and operations of our WorkFusion RPA platform. The role will primarily be responsible for -  

Solution Design: Design and build robust and scalable platform environment by analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.

Platform Administration & Management: Maintain the technical configuration and design for our WorkFusion platform to optimal performance, availability, scalability, reliability and efficiency. Perform all basic platform administration tasks like installing patches, minor and major system upgrades, and daily hygiene tasks.

Workflow Optimization: Optimize and enhance existing automation workflows, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements and implementing enhancements.

Integration: Integrate WorkFusion's platform with existing systems, APIs, and databases to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.

Testing and Deployment: Develop testing strategies, conduct thorough testing of automation workflows, and manage deployment processes in various environments.

Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation including design documents, workflow diagrams, and standard operating procedures. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with WorkFusion's latest features and enhancements, and continuously explore new automation opportunities to drive innovation. Governance: work on establishing best practices and promoting them across HPE. Conduct code/design reviews as needed.

What you need to bring:

How you’ll make your mark:

  • 5+ years of experience administering, managing, scaling and performance tuning Intelligent / Robotic Process Automation platforms.
  • Experience with implementing resilient and highly available platform configurations is highly recommended.
  • Working with business SMEs, product owner and enterprise technology leads to envisioning automation solutions to support optimized client experience and operational efficiency.
  • Experience creating logical design, cost and time estimate for an end-to-end complex technology solutions. Work closely with solution development teams to specify resource requirements, estimate build efforts, and structure build/test project execution to support solution development.
  • Actively lead engineering activities, conduct proof of concept for critical solution components, build the high-level skeleton of the solution to mitigate technical risks, and work closely with the development team on implementation activities.
  • Advocate for business-focused solution approach and influence peers, promote solution best practices, lead solution framework design, build, and test, create templates and patterns to institutionalize re-use, codify best practices, and streamline solution design and development.
  • Exceptional Java programming and query SQL tuning skills, with hands-on programming/application development. Hands-on experience in OCR, ML, NLP, Graph DB, RabbitMQ, MSSQL Databases, etc.,
  • Ability to provide examples of quality code and design, and push for better processes.
  • Provide support to development resources in all phases of solution build.
  • In-depth experience and knowledge of software engineering, information systems, and enterprise intelligent automation.
  • Experience in conducting code reviews, mentoring junior developers, resolving design conflicts, and interacting with business users.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills – an expert technical architect should be able to anticipate where problems might occur and find solutions before the change is deployed.

Education :

  • BS/MS degree in computer science, engineering, data science, business administration, information science or related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; influencing skills and ability to work effectively in a diverse and geographically dispersed team.
