Roles & Responsibilities:
- Identify, assess, and ensure risk action plan are managed associated with onshore renewables energy projects, considering technical, financial, health, safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental factors.
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk mitigation plans and strategies to safeguard project timelines, budgets, and overall success.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate risk management into project planning and execution.
- Monitor and track identified risks throughout project lifecycles, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies related to risk management and project controls.
- Continuously improve risk management processes and tools to enhance project outcomes.
- Identify risks which will not be eliminated during the design and construction phases but will be transferred to the operations organization as an ongoing vulnerability and ensure through handover to operations to manage the vulnerability.
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications preferred.
- 2-3 years of proven experience in risk management within the renewables energy sector.
- Strong understanding of project controls, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory compliance within renewable energy projects.
- Proficiency in risk assessment tools and software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Dedication to promoting safety and sustainability within the renewable energy industry.
