Our Story Started in Kolkata, West Bengal. The Year 1993.

Brief Job Summary
Retail Buying & Merchandising is responsible for ensuring that the right number of products are available in Exclusive Brand Outlets (EBOs) as per season and are being sold at the right price.
Merchandisers also assess the needs of individual stores and how they might differ based on factors such as store size and their target demographics.
Key Deliverables
- Working closely with inventory, sales and merchandisers to plan product ranges
- Meeting with suppliers, distributors, store personnel and analysts
- OTB Calculation & create appropriate buying plan as per season
- Create option plan & depth analysis
- Planning & predicting sales and profits
- Formulate stock to Sale plan for a season
- Analyze season sell through and take appropriate action
- Provide range architecture for a specific season to product and design
- Setting stock promotions /price reductions as appropriate (liquidation)
- Evaluate, analyze and report on product and assortment matrix at store at store level
- Optimize the inventory levels as per Annual Operating Plan by analyzing the category/brand business performance
- Assessing sales performance of different product ranges & categories and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Making presentations to the board as required
Education
- Graduate / Masters in Fashion from NIFT is desired
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Retail Buying, planning, merchandising & analyst role from mens apparel/garments background
