Job summary
The restaurant host/hostess is responsible for creating a positive first impression on guests as they enter the establishment.This role involves greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and coordinating with the wait staff to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience.Chilzo is a women-owned and run restaurant in Goregaon, India, passionate about bringing unique delectable items from around the globe and giving back to the underprivileged women in our society.

Responsibilities
• Greeting Guests• Reservation Management• Keep track of reservations and manage the seating chart• Assist guests with making reservations, both in-person and over the phone• Maintain an organized and efficient reservation system• Coordinate with concerned person for delivery via zomato• Have exceptional knowledge about each and every dish being served and products being used• Take good quality pictures of guests for social media promotions• Help out with procurement and inventory management
Requirements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills• Excellent storytelling abilities and confidence to hold an audience’s attention• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities• Customer-focused with a positive attitude• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally• Knowledge of the restaurant layout, menu items, and daily specials• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred• Bachelor’s in Marketing or Hospitality Management is preferred
