Research Associate

Pushttie Venture Capital is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Associate to join our team. The Research Associate will play a pivotal role in conducting in-depth market research, analyzing investment opportunities, and supporting the investment decision-making process.

Responsibilities:

• Market Research: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes relevant to our investment focus areas.
• Due Diligence: Evaluate potential investment opportunities by analyzing company financials, business models, product/service offerings, and competitive positioning.
• Financial Analysis: Assist in financial modeling, including revenue projections, cost analysis, and valuation assessments.
• Report Generation: Prepare comprehensive investment memos, presentations, and reports summarizing findings and recommendations for internal review and discussion.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and other stakeholders to gather relevant information and insights.
• Portfolio Management Support: Provide ongoing support to portfolio companies, including monitoring performance metrics, conducting follow-up research, and assisting in strategic decision-making.
• Stay Updated: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, market trends, and regulatory developments impacting the venture capital landscape.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, management consulting, or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
• Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Demonstrated passion for technology innovation and entrepreneurship.
• Good command of written and verbal English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
• Familiarity with industry databases, research tools, and resources (e.g., PitchBook, Crunchbase, Bloomberg) preferred.
