Job Description:
We are looking for freshers/experienced research analyst for collating and managing financial data relating to a financial/equity research themes/topic. The primary responsibility will be for collating, analyzing, and managing financial data.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Collation of financial data along with other fundamental data from different regulatory sources and fund websites.
- Preparing concise summaries of earnings conference calls.
- Detailed study of various fund documents for working on.
- Standardization of and quality assurance of information.
- Be a good team player.
- Eye for details with an ability to produce error free work.
- Conduct thorough secondary research on topics and present findings in an insightful manner.
- Drive continuous improvement within the process through quality initiatives.
- Doing quality checks in MS Excel as well as internal tools.
- Fund classification, Security classification, Fund holdings and allocations data, corporate actions.
- Awareness of financial reporting requirements.
- Willing to explore and learn new technologies, must have a strong problem resolution mindset Quality checks & analysis.
- The candidate should be well conversant with various securities markets concepts, need a fine eye for detail, as well as good understanding of the popular data analysis tools and databases.
- The candidate would get exposure to financial data management projects and learn Domain of a finance product and also get exposure to learn technical tools like SQL, VBA, RPA, Python etc. in longer term.
Required Skills:
Candidate should have an interest in leaning new skillsets and should be willing to take efforts in this direction. Knowledge of VBA macros, R, Python, XML is an added advantage.
- Good command on English.
- Good understanding of Capital markets including concepts of DCF and Relative valuation methods.
- Good writing skills aligned to writing standards in financial/equity research.
- Strong problem resolution skills.
