A Reproting Analyst enables high quality reporting to a diverse range of stakeholders by gathering and processing data into reports according to documented procedures.
As part of a wider team Data Processors routinely gather, cleanse, and refresh data in accordance with a strict schedule to ensure the timely availability of accurate reports. They must be highly organized, motivated, and attentive to detail, and are expected to pragmatically apply logic and reasoning to optimize performance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine data processing procedures [ETL] in accordance with process documentation.
- Manage risks to assure accuracy and timeliness of data and reports.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting availability or quality of data and reports.
- Support Reporting Analysts in the development of new reports and data pipelines.
Technical Skills:
- Spreadsheets [Excel or equivalent] including tables, charts, pivot charts, data queries, and data models.
- Data acquisition [extract, transform, and load using a variety of tools and techniques].
- Data and business analysis.
- Basic, low code programming and automation [MS Power Platform, or Python].
- Written and verbal communication [Word, Powerpoint etc.].
- SQL (joins & queries) and SQL server [SSIS] scripting.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Experience 2-4 Years
- Handling, analyzing, and reporting data.
- Working as part of a team or project, and without direct supervision.
- Supporting technology operations and IT service management.
Working with enterprise workflow systems (Servicenow)
