The role will be responsible for the below roles.
- Manage the North and East India warehouse (CFAs) & Transportation Operations – 9 CFAs in North and 5 CFAs in East
- Manage the Central Hub operations of finished goods and raw materials.
- Downstream Transportation & Logistics
- Ability to play an Active Role in designing the Future Logistics Network
- Effective Warehouse Space Management at CFA and Hub
- Coordination with procurement and factory team for raw material storage and dispatch
- Analyze the current infrastructure constraints & current Business Model & remove bottlenecks.
- Ensuring timely order processing and deliveries to customers (GT/MT/ Ecom/ CSD)
- Ensure CFA MIS / Order TAT / Delivery OTIF
- Ensure stock availability at CFAs as per forecast and flag overselling & SLOB stocks
- Regular meeting with sales team, customers and resolving concerns relation distributions and improvement plan.
- Formulating the Transport Plan / Strategy - Route planning / Load Optimization / Cost & Analysis
- Defining & Periodic assessment of Transport & CFA SOPs.
- Assisting Annual / Rolling Logistics Budget with Detailed workings for your region
- Responsible for rate negotiation with CFAs and drive profitability initiative for the region
- Identification of Transporter and Renegotiation of freight for cost saving
- Monthly CFA Scorecards / KPIs
- Understanding of Network Optimization & complete CFA Transitions without sales loss
- Ensure SOP Adherence / Danone Governance Audit
- Ensure compliance on distribution QA SOPs for the region
- Work closely with distribution QA team for Quality audits and warehouse site assessments
- Implement Best in-Class class practices for Warehousing, Transportation & Distribution
- Designing dashboards & Templates to quantify operational KPIs (CSL / DSL/ OTIF) & periodically review
- Aware of the Industry Trends in terms of Warehousing / Transport Norms & Practices, KPI benchmarking
Education & Experience
Education
- UG – Any graduate
- PG – MBA (Optional, Specialization in Supply chain will be an added advantage)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply chain
- Experience in FMCG sector will be preferred
- Experience in supply chain and logistics operations in customer service role
- Experience in handling North or East India territory
