About Grasim Industries Limited - Paints Business (Birla Opus)

A new venture in the space of paints, Birla Paints division – Grasim is set to offer a diversified new-age portfolio of paints and related products in line with global megatrends. Planned to have presence across multiple locations in India.

Ahead of the launch, Grasim has successfully piloted the first-of-its-kind painting services in key metros and introduced a range of imported wood finishes. A cutting-edge R&D facility has already been set up in Maharashtra.

Grasim had previously committed an investment of Rs.10,000 crore towards setting up the paints business. The company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing plants located in Haryana, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and West Bengal, will have a total capacity of 1,332 million litres per annum (MLPA), and will serve demand centres across the country.

The current estimated value of India’s decorative paints industry is Rs 70,000 Crore. The paints industry is witnessing double digit growth year-on-year driven by rising consumer aspirations and the government’s push towards ‘Housing for All’.

Job Description - Regional Designer ( Officer - Colour consultancy)

Leading and manging the team of 30 - 40 Paint consultants who are based out of Franchise Stores

Close co-ordination with the other teams - Retail, Dealer, Painting services etc

As specialist provide expert Paint consultation service to Major Architectural sites, Big resendtial projects & Commercials projects likes universities, hospitals etc.

Participate in workshops and Business development campaigns and visiting dealers and contractors

NPS tracking - Regular audits & give appropriate feedback to the team

Team training & motivation -
Training the team with the company's colour design software for consultation on regular basis
Provide training modules (colour & product knowledge ) set by Sparkle to the team - Paint consultants

Drive Lead conversion and revenue through team of Paint consultants based out of Franchsie stores

Team management skills - Co-ordinate with TSM/ASM (painting execution team) to ensure smooth operations of the customer's painting journey

Coaching & feedback to the team

Performance management of the team

Requirements of the candidate

Excellent communication skills - English, Hindi & regional language

Qualification- Master and Degree in Interior Design , Qualification : Preferred diploma/ graduation in Interior design.

4-5 years of work experience specially in retail store - preferably in interior or home décor

Enjoys interacting with customers & helping people with colour solutions

Demonstrate excellent time-management skills & should be able to work independently like an expert with the support of company resources, templates & tools

Willing to work on weekends

Base location : Regional offices. Would require some extent of travel across the region.

Preferred team leading experience. Experience in Interior design

Good computer skills - Mircosft word, Photoshop, MS office & regular other software knowledge is only required. No design specific software required
