Position: Regional Business Manager
Experience: Required: 10 to 15 Years
Job Summary:-
The Regional Business Manager- Seeds shall be responsible for generating revenue by developing Distribution Network, establishing a brand image, and building a strong team. Also, he will be responsible for timely realization of dues as well as managing the sales return as per the prevailing guidelines.
Candidate shall be required to:-
- Prepare an Annual Sales Plan in alliance with the Organizational goal and develop sales & promotion strategies to achieve the same.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales target of the regions
- Accelerate the action plan to identify potential markets/clients along with new sales opportunities.
- Expand new market areas and increase sales volume by building a strong network of Distributors & Dealers
- Suggest new products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction
- Supervise & Monitor effective market visits of the team members to existing and potential customers in the area to increase the sales
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Keep strict financial control in the region & maintain financial discipline in the market.
- Strategically build Sales team capabilities to manage all the sales and extension functions in the region.
- Maintain good liaison with all the concerned institutions / Societies / Government bodies.
- Develop market intelligence channels in the region to understand the competitor activities and the current market trends.
- Manage Sales returns as per the prevailing policies.
- Handle complaints and resolve it at his own level and escalate with all the details if requires the attention of higher authorities in time.
Must-Have:-
- Exposure in Seeds Sales (Grains/Vegetables) for a minimum of 5 years in a managerial capacity.
- Handled a minimum business of Rs.10 to 15 Cr.
- Handled a team of a minimum of 12-15 members including a few Managers.
- Exposure to working in Required State/s/Must have exposure to handling 4-6 district.
- Travel-friendly - approximately 20 days per month
Qualification Required:-
Agri Graduate, Preference to MABM
Skills Required:-
- Have a reasonable understanding of Agri Practices, diseases, and deficiencies in different crops and are able to provide solutions to farmers.
