Job Description

As a Short Reel Video Specialist, you will be responsible for creating engaging and compelling short-form video content for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok. You will play a key role in developing and executing creative strategies to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and community growth through visually captivating and shareable content.

Responsibilities

• Create and produce high-quality short videos, including reels, stories, and shorts, that showcase our brand, products, services, and values in a visually compelling and engaging manner.
• Utilise video editing software and mobile editing apps to edit and enhance video content, incorporating effects, transitions, music, and text overlays to maximize impact and engagement.
• Optimise video content for each platform, including aspect ratios, video lengths, and content formats, to maximise reach, visibility, and engagement.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, social media, and design, to align short video content with broader marketing and communication initiatives and campaigns.
• Monitor performance metrics and analytics for short-form video content, including views, likes, shares, comments, and engagement rates, and provide insights and recommendations for optimisation.
• Engage with the audience on social media platforms by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries, fostering relationships, and maintaining a positive and interactive presence.

Qualifications

• Master's / Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Video Editing, Multimedia, or a related field.
• Demonstrable practical experience as a Reel Video Specialist is highly beneficial. (Minimum 2-3 years).
• Solid portfolio showcasing previous Reel Video work.
• Specialised courses or certifications in video editing software and techniques.
• Expertise in motion graphics and visual storytelling.
• Strong understanding of cinematic principles and color grading techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines.
• Experience with audio editing and sound design is a plus.
• Continued education to stay updated on evolving industry trends and technologies.
