Rebar Detailing Engineer- Facilitates the project between the Contractor, Fabricator, and Ironworkers to ensure the project meets schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
- Maintains a clear and accurate comparison of detailed weights and quantities vs. estimated amounts. Reports any discrepancies to the department manager.
- Communicates with the customer and the fabrication manager to ensure scheduling expectations are reasonable and can be met.
- Communicates with the customer and/or designer to clarify missing or unclear information pertaining to the reinforcing requirements of a project.
- Maintains and updates the project status in the project management system (aSa, RMS, or other).
- Trains entry level Detailers to detail structural rebar manually or by using CAD.
