• The candidate should be able to design the Low level, High Level and Interface and Configuration design for the Radio Communication System like TETRA, GSM-R and LTE for MRT and Mainline Railways Projects.
• Candidate should be able to prepare the management plans, detailed design, Interface design, testing procedures, method statements, Quality assurance plans for MRT and Mainline Railway Projects.
• The candidate should have the knowledge to configure the Radio Communication Core severs, Radio Dispatching Servers, NMS Servers, Group Call Servers, and Voice Recorder servers for MRT and Mainline Railways Projects.
• Candidate should be able to integrate the Core servers with the Train Borne Equipment and should have the knowledge about the third-party train borne equipment for on board interface.
• Candidate should have the knowledge of the Radio Communication standards like ETSI, EIRENE, 3GPP and FRMCS etc.
• The candidate should be aware about the process for obtaining the Radio frequency approvals and its necessary documentation for TETRA, GSM-R and LTE.
• Knowledge about RF Survey, RF Planning, RF Simulation and Prediction reports for Radio System should be known.
• Knowledge of tools and tackles like RF drive test tool, Radio Power meter, Spectrum analyser should be known.
• Knowledge of the RF Cables, Leaky Cables, indoor and outdoor Repeater should be known.
• Idea about EMI/EMC EN301489 Latest version standards for Radio Communication.
• Identifying the suitable installation location for Radio Tower and validating the specifications should be known. The candidate should be able to decide the Radio Tower installation location considering the Radio Signal penetration and applicable specifications.
