- Preparation of Quality Control Manuals/ Policies/ Procedures and ensuring its implementation across Assurance department including timely updation. Reviewing the ISQM1 controls at the firm level including designing
- Responsibilities: Quality Assurance: Develop and implement a robust quality assurance framework for Statutory Audit engagements. Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in the Statutory Audit function. Implement changes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and quality in audit processes. Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to audit teams on Quality Management principles, statutory requirements, and best practices. Facilitate continuous learning initiatives to keep audit professionals updated on industry standards.
- Audit Methodology: Develop and update audit methodologies to align with changes in regulations, standards, and business environments. Ensure consistent application of audit methodologies across engagements. Documentation Standards: Establish and enforce documentation standards for audit workpapers and reports. Review audit documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established standards. Quality Reviews: Conduct regular reviews of completed audit engagements to assess the quality of work performed. Provide constructive feedback to audit teams to drive improvement.
- Communication with Stakeholders: Communicate Quality Management initiatives, policies, and outcomes to senior management, audit teams, and external stakeholders. Address inquiries related to Quality Management from clients and regulatory bodies. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the quality of Statutory Audits. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve quality-related issues.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to auditing standards and Quality Management. Stay informed about changes in relevant regulations and standards.
- Required Candidate profile :
1. Basic knowledge of the standards on Quality Management
2. Strong written and oral communication;
3. Good knowledge of MS Excel;
4. Good hands-on preparation of PPTs;
5. Ability to work in a team.
