Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our product through the development and execution of Quality Assurance processes and procedures. Candidate should have sound knowledge of different communication protocols (Modbus, BACNet, LoRa, SNMP, Wirepas etc) to perform various types of testing for embedded and cloud applications, like Functional, System (End2End including cloud + HW), Performance and API Testing. Candidate must have an experience of IoT based solutions (Cloud + HW) and product testing and ability to upgrade the technical skills within the constantly changing technology sector. Ability to maintain the cloud-based QA environment and infrastructure. Develop and implement Quality Assurance procedures and processes to ensure the highest level of product/service quality.
Responsibilities:
1. Testing of cloud-based applications, embedded firmware, and communication protocols.
- Automation and manual testing.
- HW and testing environment setup readiness.
- Collaborate with product development teams to review and provide input on product design and specifications from a Quality Assurance perspective.
- Create and maintain documentation related to quality testing and assurance activities.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Root cause analysis of field failures or issues.
- Prepare & review of test scenarios and ensure coverage of testing as per the Test Strategy and requirements.
- Designing and developing test automation scripts.
- Conduct testing and analysis to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field.
- 2-3 years of work experience in Manual and Automated test environments.
- Strong understanding of Software and firmware testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C/C++).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance for IoT based solutions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Quality assurance certifications if have (not mandate) (e.g., ISTQB, CQE).
Note: This is not a remote only opportunity, and the candidate should be open to working from office.
