AddressManual functional tester will be responsible for QA manual testing projects in ATC. Person should have worked on ALM latest versions R12.X. Should have good experience in testing API, Integrations, web application, workflows and salesforce applications.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- QA manual testing engineer with strong scripting knowledge and proficient in QA tools like ALM.
- Good knowledge of SDLC, Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and different testing methodologies
- Good knowledge on Test Case preparation, review & execution, Defects review, and management, Black Box Testing
- Well versed with Usability, GUI, Functional, System, Regression, and Smoke/Sanity testing
- Should have been involved in end-to-end testing projects.
- Should have good knowledge of ALM 12.0 modules like Test Plan, Test Lab, Test Management and Dashboard.
- Should have good knowledge of Testing deliverables – Test Plan, Test Strategy, Test cases preparation & Test Report.
- Work closely with functional BA’s to understand the functional flow of new/modified functionality and then write functional test cases.
- Experience of publishing daily and weekly status reports.
- Experience in working in onshore-offshore model is preferred.
- Own the quality of the feature set and show an attitude of responsibility and ownership towards the quality. Report any doubts/concerns immediately that could have an impact on the release.
OPTIONAL SKILLS:
- Experienced in Mobile testing will be added advantage.
- Exposure with working in Agile/Scrum environment.
- Expertise in QA methodologies, tools and processes – Bug Tracking Tools (JIRA).
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
- 4+ Yr experience
- B.E / B.Tech
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other technical discipline with at least 5 years of related work experience
- Minimum 5-8 years of relevant work experience of Manual Testing
- Should have worked on ALM and Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) for at least 4 manual Business Applications.
- Certification on Testing Tools and methodologies will be added advantage.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills0
