Job Description
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• Ensure that products and raw materials needs of the hotel are secured at the best price and received as planned
• Conduct effective negotiations with vendors to obtain the best possible price.
• Continually explore alternative sources of supply taking into consideration price, quality and reliability of both existing and new vendors
• Negotiation of contracts for F&B as well General Supplies
• Prepare monthly purchases report for analysis
• Initiate cost saving projects to increase the productivity and profitability of the company

Desired Candidate Profile


Profile:
Qualifications
• Finance Degree, with minimum 3 years of Purchasing experience
• Experience in a computerized Materials procurement system preferably in the hospitality industry
• Strong analytical and excellent negotiation skills, organized, meticulous with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Possess a positive attitude, mature, highly initiative, with strong leadership qualities and able to relate well with individuals at all levels and function effectively
• Proficient in MS Office Applications
• Able to commence work immediately or within short notice
