Responsibilities
• Secure adherence to Siemens Energy procurement requirements and guidelines• Contribute to secure achievement of procurement targets and KPIs• Execute and follow-up of Request for Quotations (RfQs) with suppliers• Process purchase orders based on project requirements• Follow-up of purchase orders and monitor adherence to delivery dates• Drive supplier expediting to mitigate contractual risk• Report procurement status to project stakeholders• Ensure correct goods receipt process• Secure corrective actions for supplier invoice discrepancies• Support claim management and supplier evaluation/development activities
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in industry or engineering• 7+ years of experience within function or industry• Ability to take ownership and think independently• Proven excellent customer service and communication skills• Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities• Knowledge and experience of purchasing fundamentals• Ability to work in teams and collaborate cross-functionally• Ability to establish priorities and demonstrate flexibility• Self-motivated with problem-solving and decision-making skills
Key Skills Needed
