Purchase Officer

Roles and Responsibilities :-

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost and efficiency
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine procurement needs and specifications
• Source potential vendors and maintain good relationships with existing suppliers
• Review and analyze purchase requisitions to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors
• Track and report key functional metrics to management
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure items are in stock as needed
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance and resolving any issues
• Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices
• Stay up-to-date with market trends and new procurement techniques

Desired Candidates Profile:-

• Required 2-3 Years of Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of procurement regulations and procedures
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office and purchase management software
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
