Job Overview

The Purchase Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services for RHP Group in a cost-effective and timely manner. This role requires strong knowledge of purchase management, vendor management, SAP, purchase orders, purchase order finance, and indenting. The ideal candidate should have 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar procurement role.
• Strong knowledge of purchase management principles and practices.
• Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar procurement software.
• Familiarity with purchase order financing and indenting processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate a team.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies and policies to ensure cost savings and efficiency in purchasing operations.
• Identify potential suppliers, negotiate pricing and contracts, and maintain relationships with existing vendors.
• Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance and support throughout the procurement process.
• Monitor inventory levels and oversee inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts.
• Work closely with the finance team to manage purchase order financing and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Oversee the implementation and utilization of SAP or similar procurement software to streamline procurement processes and improve productivity.
• Stay updated with industry trends and market conditions to drive cost savings and efficiency in procurement operations.
• Manage a team of purchasing professionals and provide necessary training, guidance, and support.
