Position : PURCHASE AND INVENTORY MANAGEMENT

Location : Mumbai Andheri West

Salary : Industry standards

Experience: 3-4 years

Qualification : Any graduate/Any post graduate

Required Candidate profile:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in using MS Office, Excel, SAP, TALLY

• Ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities.

• 3-4 years experience in a similar profile.

Job Description – Purchase & Inventory Management

1. New vendor development & and sustaining long-term relationships with suppliers, coordination with QA/QC/R&D for product/internal approval.

2. Inventory Control through aging and ordinary with production plant for FG and PM management.

3. Floating RFQ to vendors, preparation of price comparison for approval, Negotiations, Final approval from Dept. Head, making purchase orders in the system & and sending the PO to suppliers.

4. Arranging advance payment to vendor wherever applicable, Coordination with logistics for vehicle arrangement for material pick-up wherever applicable, Follow-up, tracking of materials & and ensuring that material should reach as per given schedule.

5. Ensuring the replacement/rejection of faulty material, CAPA Reports, etc.

6. Coordination with stores & accounts team for timely entry of materials receipt in the system for bills Booking, Checking and forwarding vendors bills to accounts for booking, Help accounts department in reconciliation of accounts statements and balance confirmations.

7. Co-ordination with internal finance/accounts for credit notes, debit notes etc. wherever applicable, Co-ordination with supplier for credit notes, debit notes, queries etc. wherever applicable

8. Review Minimum Order Quantity (MQQ) and Minimum Inventory Level (MIL) as per consumptions.

9. Coordination with internal Dept. Logistics/Plant/Stores/QA/QC/R&D/Marketing/Sales/ Accounts/Finance for smooth transaction of business.

10. Tracking of prices month on month basis to understand the market changes.

11. Documentation & filing as per ISO standards, assuring compliance with stipulated SOPs.

12. Other activities and responsibilities as assigned by Senior's time to time.
