Project Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

A Project Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing projects. They work within constraints like budgets and schedules. You will be working closely with all the team members from the same or different departments. You will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and completing the project. You will be in charge of the project scope and team management assigned to the project.

Some of the responsibilities of a Project Manager include & not limited to:

Defining the project's goals, objectives, and scope

Creating a project plan that outlines tasks, timelines, and resources

Communicating with the project team and stakeholders

Managing risks and issues

Monitoring progress to ensure the project stays on track

Collecting and managing the project team

Managing the project budget

Allocating project resources

Creating a project schedule and timeline

Set and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally

Prepare a budget based on project scope

Set and adhere to budgetary allocation

Estimate resource requirement, acquire it effectively and manage efficiently

Provide project updates to stakeholders from time to time or as specified

Create and manage contracts with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely deliveries

Perform regular assessment of project execution to identify areas for improvement

Track project performance periodically to ensure both short-term and long-term goals are met

Create and maintain detailed project documentation

Undertake risk management to minimize potential risks

Ensure project delivery is on time, as per scope and within the allocated budget

Non-negotiable skills:

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

Strong hold in English language

Proficient at managing time and resources

Detail-oriented

Ability to draw up detailed project plans and schedules

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Capable of managing crises as and when they arise

Adept at negotiating internally as well as externally

Required Qualifications:

Besides domain and technical expertise, soft skills play a crucial role in the success of a Project Manager.

Preferred Skills:

Bachelors degree / Diploma

Proven experience of a minimum of 3 years in managing projects of similar size and type

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Domain knowledge preferred

Proven experience in using popular project management tools such as PPT, PDF, MS Office,. Etc.

Knowledge of project management frameworks and best practices
