Role: Project Controller
Reporting to: CFO
Location: Bangalore
JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Project Costing and Monitoring: Prepare the Project Forecast on a monthly basis and consolidate results in the Monthly Report. Develop and maintain detailed project budgets, including cost tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Vendor Management: Work closely with procurement teams to manage vendor contracts and expenditures.
- Cash Flow Management: Maintain a proactive approach to managing project cash flows, ensuring optimal utilization of financial resources. Prepare Cash Planning Reports
- Project Finance & Due Diligence: Facilitate internal and external diligence related to project finances. Coordinate with the lenders to fulfil the financing requirements. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Project Taxation: Ensure that project taxation is properly handled In conjunction with Tax Agent.
- Cost Audit: Ensure the records are maintained as per the Cost Record and Audit rules. Coordinate with cost auditor and complete the audit within the prescribed timeline.
Other Responsibilities:
- Review and validate change orders in relation with Project Manager/Project Control Manager for input in forecast.
- Structure cost review and reporting. Allocating cost to the projects.
- Compliance of all statutory matters relating to project.
- Monitoring contract compliance and communicating with contractors regarding changes that need to be made to comply with contractual obligations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations. Ensure the project opt for various incentives available as per the project eligibility.
REQUIREMENTS :
- Professional qualification: CMA / MBA finance
- 5-8 years of experience in Project Cost Controlling and/or Fixed Assets Accounting
- Working knowledge of ERPs experience in MS Dynamics NAV preferable.
- Detailed oriented and good with numbers. A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication, clear thinking skills - effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational financial plans.
- Understanding and satisfaction of information needs of internal and external stakeholders.
