Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Production & Merchandise professional to join our team at A L Paper House. As the largest Handmade Paper & Paper Products Exporter in India, we pride ourselves on producing high-quality paper products. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and managing the merchandise operations. This is a mid-level position, requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in the paper industry.
Qualifications and Skills
- 4 to 6 years of experience in the paper industry, preferably in a production or merchandise role
- Solid knowledge of the paper manufacturing process
- Experience in managing production operations and coordinating with multiple teams
- Strong understanding of merchandising principles and product development
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer preferences
- Proficiency in inventory management and supply chain coordination
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the production process, ensuring timely and efficient execution
- Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth workflow and production schedule adherence
- Supervise and train production staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of product quality
- Manage inventory levels, monitor stock availability, and coordinate with suppliers
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop new product ideas and improve existing products
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand customer preferences and trends
- Manage the merchandise operations, including product development, sampling, and packaging
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the production and merchandise areas
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and recommend process improvements for enhanced efficiency
