This job involves making sure that cars are built correctly and safely.
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:
Making Sure Cars are Ready for Inspection: Checking that cars are ready for final inspection before they're sold.
Improving How Cars are Made: Finding ways to make cars better and to improve how they're built and stored.
Auditing and Improving Products and Processes: Checking how cars are made and finding ways to make them even better.
Working to Prevent Problems: Finding ways to stop mistakes from happening, like making sure cars don't have defects or leaks.
Solving Problems with How Cars are Put Together: Fixing issues that come up with how cars are assembled.
Visiting Customers and Dealers to Fix Issues: Going to meet customers and dealers to understand and fix any problems they're having with the cars.
General Requirements:
- Should have hands-on experience in handling manufacturing/customer quality in an OEM
- Should know about ISO /TS systems
- Should know FMEA ,Kaizens , Pokeyoke & 5S
- Added advantage if knowledge of 6 Sigma / TQM & TPM
Problem-Solving Skills:
Using Tools to Check Quality: Using tools to check if things are made correctly, like checklists and charts.
Inspecting and Auditing Skills: Knowing how to look at things closely to make sure they're right, and being able to check how things are made to make them better.
Applying Quality Systems: Knowing how to use rules and systems to make sure things are made well.
Knowing About Cars and How They're Made: Understanding how cars are put together and how to test them to make sure they're safe.
