We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner with a deep understanding of the fintech collections landscape in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving product development initiatives in the fintech industry, particularly in the collections domain. As a Product Owner, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of collections platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients and the market.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements based on market trends, client feedback, and regulatory changes in the fintech collections space in India.
- Knowledge in field collections, onboarding, KYC, tele-caller is an advantage.
- Own the product roadmap and backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.
- Drive outcomes with bridging with technical team.
- Work closely with engineering, design, and QA teams to translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
- Drive the agile development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, gathering feedback, and managing expectations.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics to measure the effectiveness of product features and enhancements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies in fintech collections, incorporating relevant insights into product strategy and roadmap.
What we seek in you:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/I.T (Engineering), Business Administration, or a related field; MBA (Finance/Operations) preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in product management or Product Ownership roles including 5+ years in fintech industry, with a focus on collections solutions.
- Deep understanding of the fintech ecosystem and regulatory framework governing collections in India, including knowledge of RBI guidelines and compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams in the delivery of complex software products, preferably in an agile environment.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to drive informed product decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
- Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus.
