About the Role:Product Owner - Identity and Access Management
The Team: The candidate will be joining a team of highly motivated and professional individuals. The IAM team delivers Identity and Access Management solutions to the entire organization. The IAM team has complete purview and control over engineering, architecture, development, deployment, and support of Identity and Access Management Systems, providing key security services in Identity Governance & Administration (SailPoint). The team is also responsible for meeting the 99.99% system availability, supporting the integration of IAM services with several thousand applications, and working closely with Risk Management in setting and implementing security policies that control risk across the entire company.
Responsibilities and Impact :
Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the organization's IAM solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to align initiatives with business objectives and prioritize the product backlog.
Guide the development team in creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementing IAM features and functionalities, while monitoring product performance, user feedback, and market trends for continuous improvement.
Drive the adoption and effective utilization of IAM solutions across the organization, streamlining user management processes, enhancing security, compliance, and user experience, and enabling seamless integration with new applications and systems.
Implement robust authentication, authorization, and auditing mechanisms to strengthen the organization's security posture and facilitate compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
Enable data-driven decision-making by providing insights and analytics on IAM usage, access patterns, and potential security risks. Deliver IAM products that support business agility, reduce IT costs, and mitigate security risks, contributing to the organization's overall success.
Stay current with the latest IAM technologies, industry best practices, and compliance requirements, foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the IAM product team, and communicate product updates, milestones, and value to stakeholders and leadership.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, with a Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on software solutions.
Deep understanding of product management concepts, methodologies, and best practices, such as Agile, Scrum, and Lean.
Proven track record of successfully delivering software products or projects, driving adoption, and aligning with business objectives.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
Knowledge of relevant industry trends, customer needs, and market dynamics related to the specific product domain.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Deep understanding of IAM concepts, technologies, and best practices, including single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), role-based access control (RBAC), and user lifecycle management.
Proven track record of successfully delivering IAM products or projects, driving adoption, and aligning with business objectives.
