Within HPE, our Operations, Legal and Admin teams work across the business, providing visible accountability and measurable outcomes. With a variety of roles and responsibilities these teams really connect the dots, giving us the essential insights, support and capability to accelerate our transformation to be the world’s edge to cloud company. What you’ll do:
- Provides standard-level transactional procurement support, focusing on fundamental business, purchasing and financial controls that require limited technical expertise via Tickets, Chats, and Emails for external and internal customers
- Interact over email and collaborative tools with internal and/or external customers
- Coordinate with internal and cross-functional team to resolve customer and supplier issues
- Supports multiple procurement tools and processes
- Supports the implementation of new corporate-wide procurement processes and systems
- Proactively identifies opportunities for improvements and makes recommendations
- Handles complex situations and multiple responsibilities simultaneously with a sense of urgency
- Contribute to develop, implement maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures to ensure compliance with procurement and other HPE policies
What you need to bring:
First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree added advantage
Typically 1-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain with customer service background
- Excellent communication skills both written and Oral
- Excellent customer service skills
- Judgment/Problem Solving: Ability to understand and analysis the a problem and come up with an effective resolution
- Knowledge of Procurement Applications and Processes like Ariba, Source2Contract, SmartLabor etc.
- Excellent business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint) and supply chain modeling skills.
- Strong teamwork and basic leadership skills; basic influencing skills
- Applies cause and effect thinking to identify common contract risk areas
- Ability to provide a delightful customers experience
- Good understanding of the company's business units and the procurement operations strategy.
