Purpose
You will provide Process Engineering services on large or mega projects to Worley' and its customers', including technical support and supervision within the Process Engineering team. 

Job Description for Safety Workshops Chairmanship


·Candidate should have either Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering as a minimum. Preference will be given to a Professional Engineer or a Chartered Engineer.


·Candidate should be a Certified functional safety Expert (CFSE USA or TUV Germany or equivalent) for Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas Facilities, Chemical plants etc.


·Candidate shall have minimum of 25+ years of working experience with process and process safety knowledge for Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas Facilities, Chemical plants etc.


·Candidate should have chaired a minimum of three safety study workshops of each of HAZID, ENVID,HAZOP,SIMOPS,SIL, LOPA workshops on his own for major projects in Offshore/Onshore Oil & Gas Facilities, Chemical plants etc.


·Candidate shall also have the following technical skills as a minimum.


ØExpertise on entire process hazard analysis


ØExpertise on Process safety studies viz. QRA,FERA, EERA, ESSA, Noise study, Ship Collision Study, Alarm Rationalization Study etc.


ØExpertise on Human Factor Engineering and Environmental Studies.


ØExpertise on Safety and Environmental Critical Elements SECES, Performance Standards.


ØExpertise on Value Engineering, Constructability Review


ØExpertise on Project Risk Assessment and Management


ØPossess good knowledge and experience in Process, Process Safety and Loss prevention activities.


ØKnowledge on multi-disciplinary activities.


ØWorking knowledge on USA, UK HSE, Middle East, and Indian Codes/Standards/Regulations


ØPlanning and coordination of Safety Workshops


ØKnowledge on Comprehensive Safety Audits/ Pipeline & Facility Audits


ØDelivery of Terms of Reference and Reports


ØAble to scribe as well using PHAPRO or excel sheet worksheets


·Candidate shall possess the following general skills as a minimum.

ØGood problem solving and inter personnel skills


ØGood decision-making skills


ØGovernance and leadership skills


·Candidate must be willing to travel to different parts of the world or to travel offshore although this is primarily an office-based position.


What you will bring
Technical and Industry Experience  
  • Excellent technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its clients.
  • Excellent knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the Process Engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
  • Excellent knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications.
  • Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and Process Engineering specific software.
  • Extensive technical and practical experience in Process Engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams. 

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
Required:
  • A recognized and relevant engineering degree.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications in engineering; management, project management or supervisory qualifications or equivalent.
