NVIDIA is currently seeking a Performance analysis Engineer with strong fundamentals in HW and SW performance aspects for CPU and System level. This role provide and amazing opportunity to get first-hand experience in Nvidia’s CPU product line and influence and impact the roadmap. What you'll be doing:
Plan and execute performance characterization and analysis for leading edge Nvidia CPUs/SoCs and relevant SW workloads
Detailed Performance Analysis of SW workloads on various HW solutions from competition
Through Performance Analysis, help to understand the current and guide the development of future products
Definition and development of tool chain and efficient workflows that enables the CPU and System Performance Analysis
Partner closely with external vendors and internal teams on HW platforms and SW workload alignment
Drive continuous improvement of workflows/processes
What we need to see:
Strong understanding of computer system architecture and operating system fundamentals
15+ years of work experience in a relevant domain
PhD or Master's or Bachelor's degree in EE/CS or related field, or equivalent experience
Hands-on experience on Silicon and/or Pre Silicon platforms for Performance Analysis of complex CPUs/SoCs and SW workloads
Knowledge of industry best practices and tool flows for Performance Analysis
Experience with C/C+/Python languages, workflow automation and frameworks
Strong HW and SW debugging skills on Silicon as well as Pre-Silicon environment
Good communication skills and ability & desire to work as a great teammate across the global team are a must
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Detailed knowledge of the ARM and/or x-86 architecture
Experience working with EDA tools and optimization
