- Support the execution of procurement and supply chain strategies, focusing on specific operational objectives.
- Manage day-to-day procurement activities, including the processing of purchase orders, vendor communication, and contract compliance.
- Supervise and guide a team of procurement professionals, assisting with their development and performance.
- Participate in the evaluation and improvement of supply chain processes, enhancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with organizational goals.
- Assist in budgetary control within the department while meeting financial targets.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes impacting procurement and supply chain practices.
- Contribute to the development and tracking of departmental KPIs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role in procurement and supply chain
- Proven experience in supply chain management
- Proficiencies in vendor management, cost control, and procurement strategies
- A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
Other Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus
- Relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain a plus
