A. Job Objective
Lead the planning, coordination & staffing within the department and coordinate with other interfacing functions to achieve the budgeted production targets with desired quality standards on a weekly basis.
B. Primary responsibilities
Strategic Planning Activities:
Core:
- Review of corrections done on dimensional graphs as and when required to improve dimensional control, eliminate defects and improve machinability
- Review execution of action plan and its effect on downtime, HFX and Process Loss to improve AFOE at despatch.
- Participate in daily CFT meeting for review of performance parameters, brain storming and addressing repitative challenges
- Review documentation of all change controls, deviations, incident reporting and make action plan to minimise it.
- 10 days planning meeting with CFT about size change, colour change, OTDIF, OTD, Machine Delay, Short and excess production to achieve production targets
- Review smooth flow of material from production to despatch to achieve OTDIF
- Review root cause analysis in case of customer complaint and initiate CAPA and implementation
- Lean six sigma project execution - identify various improvement projects within dept. and execution and sustenance of same.
- Provide support to QA in terms of investigation & root cause analysis, record retrieval, CAPA identification, implementation & adherence for the relevant customer complaint.
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines/ Environment Management System - ISO14001-2015 / Occupational Health and Safety - ISO45001-2018, c-GMP, regulatory & statutory compliances, TPM and other applicable norms.
- Ensure legal compliance as per Factories Act 1948.
- Review root cause of accident and environmental incidence and able to implement corrective/prevention action to avoid recurrence.
- Sustain product quality by weekly CTQ & CAPA audit.
- Weekly hazard review with department and ensure closure compliance.
Internal Process
- Preparation and review of process loss, performance reports of section.
- Preparation of Digitalization project status reports
- Preparation of Job description and charter of demand and approval from concerned.
- Goal setting, performance appraisals of all associates from department.
People development
- Ensure identification of development needs for associate and ensure implementation of Training with HR department in order to support Departmental goals
- Monitor and review Multiskilling initiatives in order support Departmental goals
