Job Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Plant Operations Manager to oversee the overall functioning of our dental laboratory. As a Plant Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the production process, ensuring smooth operations, and optimizing efficiency. This is a full-time executive position with more than 10 years of experience required. The job is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Plant Operations Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Plant Operations, production processes, and quality control
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements
- Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with dental laboratory operations is a plus
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of Plant Operations, including production, quality control, inventory management, and logistics
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve productivity
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align production plans with customer demands
- Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve production targets
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repair activities
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for supplies and services
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement best practices in Plant Operations
- Prepare regular reports on production performance and present findings to senior management
